I have been at CHA since 2012. This is my 12th year teaching 3rd grade.  I have been teaching for over 40 plus years.   I have taught everything from 1st - 8th grade in Louisiana, Missouri, and Texas.  I am a Louisiana girl from the top of my head, all the way to my webbed feet.

I am the Children's Director at First Baptist Church in Palestine, TX.  I have three grown children and two grandchildren. 

 

I am a collector of many things. I love to garden. I love growing plants. I am a health freak who likes experimenting with different foods.  I try not to eat sugar or processed foods.  

 

I love being creative in teaching and kids are my curriculum.  I look for what they are interested in.  If you can get a kid curious, they will thrive and I love seeing the light bulb come on when they "get it".
