Question: What type of curriculum does CHA offer?
Answer: A-Beka/ACSI/BJU Press Curriculum. We also incorporate a Spanish class, P.E., and computer class into our schedule.
Question: Are the teachers certified?
Answer: Our teachers are state certified with classroom experience.
Question: What is the student/teacher ratio?
Answer: Our classes provide a 16:1 student/teacher ratio for 1st - 6th grade students.
Question: What are the hours for school?
Answer: We provide half-day kindergarten classes from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and full-day classes for 1st - 6th grade from 8:00 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
Question: Public schools have UIL competitions and other extra-curricular activities? Won't my child miss out on these activities?
Answer: CHA students participate in Little Dribblers. Field trips are provided for hands-on experiential education and fun.
Question: Will I have to pack a lunch for my child every day?
Answer: Currently, CHA provides hot lunches on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only, at a reasonable price. Students are required to bring a sack lunch Tuesday, and Thursday. Lunch menus are sent home with each student and posted on our website.
