Opal started as a student in the CHA Pre-K when she was four years old.  She grew up as a student here - helping her mom in Mother's Day Out, After-school care, and the library.  After graduating high school, Opal worked part-time in both the afterschool program and daycare while attending college courses.  She currently manages the after-school program here at CHA.

Opal has a brother, CJ who is retired military, married and expecting a second child and a younger sister, Emerald, who is a student at Palestine ISD.
